Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nasser Batha, the Chief Executive Officer of Emaar Industries & Investments (Pvt.) PJSC (EII) consolidates the company’s businesses expanding operations on a large scale, locally and regionally. Mr. Batha has two decades of proven excellence in handling a variety of challenging roles across the globe in executive management, driving business expansion, establishing start-up, turning around ventures, optimizing business performance, boosting sales performance and market re-engineering.
As the CEO of EII, Mr. Batha also chairs the Board of Directors for established companies such as Mammut Building Systems, Caparol Paints, Starwood Industries and Leaders Forte Contracting (L.L.C).
Throughout the last two decades Mr. Batha has held multi-faceted roles such as the Regional Market Director, Mena at Amadeus, one of the largest travel technology companies in the world, as well as the CEO at Alshamel Holding, one of the largest independent travel management companies in the MENA region prior to which he was the Area Manager at Emirates Airline. In his formative years, he has held several managerial roles at KLM Airlines and several leading companies in the travel and leisure industry.
Mr. Batha is an MBA graduate from Bradford University, U.K and has also pursued a diploma in Management from the American Management Association.
While his command over English, Arabic and Hindi are impeccable, he has also acquired a fair understanding of Farsi and Russian while serving in Russia, CIS and Iran, over the course of his career.
Mr. Waleed Dhaduk
Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Waleed Dhaduk is the Chief Investment Officer of Emaar Industries & Investments (EII). Reporting to the CEO, Mr. Dhaduk leads the company’s investment strategy and manages its investment portfolio. Bringing with him an impressive 15 years of professional experience, Mr. Dhaduk has been recognized for delivering growth and creating value across the investment management value chain.
He is also an esteemed member of the Board of Directors of Mammut Building Systems and Starwood Industries.
Before joining EII, Mr Dhaduk was a Partner at Stratum, a private equity and investment advisory firm in Bahrain, where he was responsible for originating, evaluating, structuring, executing and managing investments across a range of sectors including retail, real estate & infrastructure, financial services, telecommunications, and manufacturing amongst others.
Prior to Stratum, Mr. Dhaduk served in various strategy consulting and investment banking roles in Bahrain and Canada at leading global firms including Ernst & Young, Canadian Tire Corporation, Cap Gemini and Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Dhaduk holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Queen’s University in Canada. Additionally, Mr. Dhaduk has pursued various courses in Economics and Finance at the London School of Economics and Harvard University.
Ms. Secil Unat
Ms. Secil Unat is the senior analyst within the EII team. Secil has over three years of experience in investment banking and financial advisory with leading investment banks.
Secil began her professional career with a summer internship at Goldman Sachs in London during her penultimate year of undergraduate studies. After graduating with a First Class Honors, Secil joined Goldman Sachs on a full-time basis as an Analyst, where she spent a year in the Legal & Internal Audit division covering the Securities Division both in New York and London.
Secil left Goldman Sachs to pursue her Masters and upon completion of her degree joined Barclays Investment Bank. Prior to joining EII, Secil spent a year and a half as an Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank initially in the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure team and then rotated into Equity Capital Markets.
Secil holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Mr. Nael Dodin
Mr. Nael Dodin is the Finance Director of Emaar Industries & Investments (EII). Reporting to the CIO, Mr. Dodin leads the company’s Finance & Treasury Functions. Bringing with him an impressive 20 years of professional experience strengthened by professional qualifications. Mr. Dodin has been recognized for fostering company’s growth through successful funding management.
Mr. Dodin is also an esteemed member of the Board of Directors of Mammut Building Systems and acts as a Portfolio Manager for Starwood Industries.
Before joining EII, Mr. Dodin was a Finance Director at Itron Metering Solutions, a NASDAQ listed public company, where he was leading the Finance function and office management for the Middle East & CA regions and overlooking the factory operations in Saudi Arabia. Prior to Itron, Mr. Dodin was as Senior Business Controller for the mobile giant Nokia Corporation Middle East Africa, where he Co-managed & supervised the strategic initiative to build a comprehensive partners network across 49 countries within MEA, additionally he was awarded for successful fraud investigations and building a sophisticated pricing tool that was adopted globally by Nokia.
Prior to Nokia, Mr. Dodin served with various top tier and listed Companies in Jordan & USA including DHL Worldwide Express and DAMAC.
Mr. Dodin holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting & Economics from Al Yarmouk University in Jordan and is a qualified member the Institute of Management Accountants (CMA). Additionally, Mr. Dodin is a member of ACCA & ACFE.
Mr. Muhammad Zubair
Mr. Muhammad Zubair is the Accounting Manager of Emaar Industries & Investments (EII) reporting to the Finance Director. Mr. Zubair is responsible to provide and interpret financial information and reporting as per applicable accounting standards and laws.
Mr. Zubair brings with him 10 years progressing experience in accounting, auditing, business process re-arranging and automation, ERP implementation, forecasting, treasury, budgeting & costing, consulting and financial analysis.
Prior to EII, Mr. Zubair was serving as Chief Accountant in Mammut Building Systems FZC (MBS) a subsidiary of EII which is a leading manufacturer and supplier of PEB in Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Prior to MBS, Mr. Zubair has worked in middle management role in IT, service, energy & automobiles sectors in listed and large group of companies in Pakistan.
Mr. Zubair holds Bachelor degree in Commerce from University of Karachi in Pakistan and pursuing his Master in Accounting and Finance from Virtual University of Pakistan.
Mr. Eimon Eldrieny
Internal Audit Manager
Mr. Eimon Eldrieny is the Internal Audit Manager of Emaar Industries & Investments (EII). Reporting to the Board’s Audit of Committee, Mr. Eldrieny leads the Group wide audits, sharing deficiencies in operations with the Group heads and outlining step-by-step procedures to enhance overall performance levels and assuring that financial reporting, planning and operations are aligned with international best practices. Bringing with him an impressive 15 years of exceptional expertise across the domains of internal controls, risk assessment, corporate governance, accounting standards, laws and regulations, Mr. Eldrieny allied proficiency in leading high performing audit teams, developing customized audit plans, establishing operational controls among the Group.
Before joining EII, Mr. Eldrieny was an Internal Audit Manager at Qatari Investors Group, which is a publicly listed company with stakes in the Cement, Investment and Real Estate sectors, where he was responsible for conducting the Internal Audit activities.
Prior to Qatari Investors Group, Mr. Eldrieny work in various leading global Audit firms in Qatar and Egypt including Deloitte and KPMG.
Mr. Eldrieny holds a Bachelor Degree in Auditing & Accounting. He is a member of the Internal Institute of Internal Audit in US (IIA).
